This policy explains how we use both on centraleventcontrol.com and in the Central Event Control platform, and complies with the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and UK GDPR.

Required for the website to function. These do not require consent and cannot be turned off. They include cookies that remember your cookie preferences themselves.

Functional (optional, platform only)

Signed-in users of the Central Event Control platform can choose to have interface preferences (theme, layout, map settings) remembered between visits, and optional performance monitoring switched on to help us catch errors. Both are stored using local storage rather than cookies, and both are off unless you consent.

Analytics (optional)

Help us understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it. These are only set if you click Accept on our cookie banner. If you click Reject, no analytics cookies are set. Used on this website only, not within the platform.

Marketing / advertising

We do not currently use marketing or advertising cookies.

3. Managing your preferences

On this website, you can change your choice at any time by clicking the cookie preferences link, which will reopen the consent banner. You can also clear your browser's site data to reset your preferences. Most browsers also allow you to block or delete cookies via their settings.

Signed-in platform users can review and change their choice at any time from Settings > Privacy & Consent within the platform.
